On Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at 12:00 at the Institute of Oceanology of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Sopot, the first meeting of the series of quarterly SatBałtyk Seminars took place. At this meeting, the Final Information on the implementation of the project was discussed, the summary of the first quarter of 2016 and two papers were presented:

1. Lidia Dzierzbicka-Głowacka (IO PAN): Model of the copepod population from the southern Baltic
2. Magdalena Pawlik (AP): Pine pollen in the coastal zone of the southern Baltic Sea
